Our Work

Enhance

Our Enhance programme provides a range of non-financial, tailored support to help charities we fund thrive.

We help charities that we fund identify what (if any) support might help them work more effectively. When they've agreed on a specific area for development, have a clear plan of activities in mind to address this, and a clear idea of what they hope to achieve, they'll be offered support in one or more of the following ways:

 Enhance Partners

Click  to see how the Enhance partners we work with can help you:

Including reviewing approaches to assessment of needs, service-user satisfaction, service reviews, support with project planning and working in collaboration with others.

Including reviewing board/committee policy and practice, training for trustees, involving users, change management strategies, social entrepreneurship and general support/counsel for the Chief Executive

Including business planning, fundraising strategies/income generation, and policy/procedure reviews

Including improving practice around finance controls, human resources, management of volunteers, risk management, monitoring frameworks, impact assessment, digital and IT infrastructure

Including improving practice around marketing and communications, website development, reaching new audiences and recruiting volunteers

Charity Mentoring

All charities supported by the Foundation are eligible for support from a Charity Mentor from Lloyds Banking Group. Charities who apply for a mentor are typically matched with a banking professional local to them and are encouraged to forge a relationship that works for them, so that both parties have an opportunity to share skills, gain expertise and have a fresh perspective on their working practice.

Watch Charity Mentoring in action and ask your Grant Manager if you'd like to be matched.

Ready Made Resources

All charities have access to tailor-made toolkits to support them with HR management and other issues.

Networking Opportunities

Charities are given opportunities to connect with other charity professionals in your area through regional learning networks. Ask your Grant Manager what's available in your area.

Note: Enhance support is not a condition of any grant award and if agreed, will be tailored to the specific needs of the charity.
