KIM Inspire supports women with mental health needs in their recovery across Wrexham and Flintshire.
The £150,000 extended grant awarded over six years is funding a Community Coordinator which will enable this Holywell based charity to support women with mental health needs in their recovery and support them to engage in local activities.
"When you have mental health issues you feel like you're on the edge of society. Now I'm confident, I've been volunteering with different groups within the community. It's made me feel I'm not so different" - Service user
KIM Inspire received Enhance support to develop their structures and systems. Their Joint Chief Executive Annie Donovan explains:
"As part of the support we received from Lloyds Enhance programme we are now working with Diane, who is in expert in monitoring and evaluation. To have that advice has been really helpful. This is going to help us with future funding applications as well and hopefully make the charity more secure and able to prove the difference we make."
