Clara Glovier

Clara Govier has been Managing Director and Chair of People’s Postcode Lottery since May 2018. Before taking on this role, she was Deputy Managing Director and previously led People’s Postcode Lottery’s charitable portfolio as Head of Charities.
Clara brings over two decades of leadership experience across the communications and charity sectors. She began her career in senior media relations roles at the Scottish Wildlife Trust and the Royal Zoological Society of Scotland, where she led public engagement and conservation initiatives.
Clara is a committed advocate for global and community impact. She serves on the High-Level Steering Group for Education Cannot Wait, the UN global fund for education in emergencies, and is Secretary of People’s Postcode Lottery’s Charity Advisory Committee.
In recognition of her leadership and influence in the charity sector, Clara was named to Management Today’s Women in Leadership Powerlist 2025. In February 2026 she joined the Board of Trustees of Lloyds Bank Foundation.
