Helen Underwood-Savage

Helen initially joined the Development team as a secondee from the role of Events & Communications Officer in the Communications Team and in 2023 took on the role of Skills Volunteering Lead. In this role, she works closely with Lloyds Banking Group, designing and delivering a range of initiatives linking employees with charities supported by the Foundation. Helen enjoys being able to connect the skills and expertise of Lloyds Banking Group employees to the small charities we partner with and is excited to develop our relationship with Lloyds Banking Group further. She is also passionate about raising awareness within the Group of the Foundation and the fantastic work of organisations we partner with.

Before joining the Foundation, Helen worked in the world of sport, first in a community sport development role and then with The Sport and Recreation Alliance, where she delivered conferences and training about policy and governance for senior leaders within the sector.

Helen lives in South East London but always lets you know she's 'originally' from Shropshire. She loves getting outdoors and going for walks in new places, and playing netball for her local team.
