Jill Baker

Jill has over 30 years’ experience of working in the charity, health and local authority sectors specialising in children’s social care, criminal justice and community development.   She is the first Director of Communities at Lloyds Bank Foundation and her role is focussed upon helping charities thrive beyond the life of their grant and equipping them to be stronger and more sustainable. 

This involves looking at financial resilience, working across all partners and funders in a number of towns and working collaboratively – both with Lloyds Banking Group staff and also with other employers.  

Jill is a Churchill Fellow and a Trustee of the Community Foundation for Tyne & Wear and Northumberland.

She lives in the North East and is the parent of grown up twins and the G word to three little boys!
