Paul Drechsler CBE

Paul Drechsler CBE is a highly respected leader with extensive experience across business, public service and the charitable sector. He brings substantial board and governance expertise, a strong record of leading complex organisations and a lifelong commitment to social mobility and stronger communities. His previous roles include Chairman and Chief Executive of Wates Group, Chair of Bibby Line Group, President of the CBI, Chair of Teach First and Trustee of Business in the Community. He currently serves as Lead Non-Executive Director at the Department for Business, Science, Innovation and Trade, President of the Society of Chemical Industry and a Trustee of FELIX, one of the UK’s leading food redistribution charities.
